LYING, TELLING LIES, or TELLING a LIE

Everybody lies in one way or the other. Everybody has had experience of lying. Even the most honest person in the world has told a lie!
There is a notion that a relationship is being built on a falsehood.
Why do people lie?
People lie to benefit or protect themselves in some way. For example, individuals may lie by enhancing their qualifications to get a job or exaggerate their characteristics to make new friends. Presidential candidates may lie about their intentions to change the country in order to get votes. Children may lie to avoid being punished or in hopes of receiving a reward.
Usually you would describe yourself as a pretty honest person. However, sometimes a situation may arise, where you find that your only way out is to tell a lie. But, you need your lie to be believable! This will hand you step-by-step on becoming a great liar.

This 'talent' should be used with caution. It should be taken care so that you do not become a pathological liar in the future. Because Lies could cause seriously pain or hurt someone should not be told (a lie).

What is lying? (Definition)
-To make a statement that one knows to be false, especially with the intention to       deceive.
-To give a false impression.
-lie is a type of deception; a deliberate act of telling the untruth.
A lie is not in the words, or lack of words, but it is in the intention of the deceiver. It is the most insidious, most pervasive, and most common lie on the entire planet.

Reasons that people lie:
People lie for a number of different reasons:

To find a solution or a way out to get out of trouble or get something they want.

To protect themselves, look good, gain financially or socially and avoid punishment.

To help prevent you from being a victim of fraud/scams and other deceptions, etc.

People lie because of fear. For example, children who used to be abused, maltreated, or exploited they often develop a protective defense system that may over react to you, as a foster parent. So there are someone who never know to tell the truth because their habit, something missing…

lying as a way to feel better or important. This often takes the form of exaggerating or overstate.

Lying as a way to exploit others. Sometimes, a guy might use a lie as a weapon or tool in a power play within the relationship.

The reason people lie are endless but are generally selfish.
Types of lying:
There is a type of lying that's OK and another type that's sin.
Lies are often categorized into different categories and the different types of lies are viewed very differently. For example, a “white” lie is considered a harmless lie. Many people believe that white lies or "fibs" are actually a good thing and that there is nothing morally wrong with telling a white lie. For example, you don’t like this but…

Recent studies suggest that while women tell lies to make others feel better, men tell lies in order to feel better about themselves.

The worst type of lying: cheating, stealing, gossiping, or other immoral behavior. Lies, Deception, Con, Depravity, Sleaze, and Corruption, are many names.  Trickery, fraud, and hoaxes are my calls to fame. E.g. I could sell snake oil to a snake oil salesman.

As a result, they tell lies in order to continue the actions they want to do, without suffering the consequences of those actions.

Purposes of the Lie:
1)  Derail:   To change the subject of discussion in order to avoid the truth.   (For
example, one might feign being offended in order to stop a conversation about
       ones questionable actions.
2)  Confuse:  quibble or confuse the issue, or deliberately use ambiguity in order to deceive or mislead.
3)  Misinform:  To invent or perpetrate a false story with the intent to
      deceive or mislead.
Lying is a sin:
We’ve been told all our lives that lying is a sin.
bringing false accusation against others; using dishonest means to get ahead.

Sometimes we feel difficult to say the truth, because the truth may hurt someone with their secret intention. Sometimes a lie may be useful.
